Gary Neville believes Jack is facing a problem of playing in the wrong formation at England’s National Team.
Despite putting a man of the match performance against Wales, Grealish was benched against Belgium which was a strange decision to many people.
Gary Neville who is doing the punditry job on Sky Sports has explained the issue Aston Villa’s skipper is facing under Gareth Southgate, he said, “It’s a bit of a problem for Jack Grealish because he sticks with 4-3-3, because the two in midfield, I don’t think he’d be one of those two against the big teams.”
“I think if you look at the front three, you’ve got Sancho, Rashford, Sterling, Kane, Calvert-Lewin and more – where would he get in there?”
“It’s an issue for Jack Grealish because he is talented, he deserves his place in the squad, he was fantastic the other night.”
Jack could still start for his national team against Denmark on Wednesday before returning to Aston Villa on Thursday. He is likely to play against Leicester City on Sunday as Aston Villa look to extend their perfect start.
