Mbwana Samatta will soon go out on loan according to the report of Sport Witness.
Earlier this month Villa signed Ollie Watkins from Brentford for a club-record fee of £28 million which instantly made him the first-choice striker for the club.
Keinan Davis who fought for his place against Samatta last season has been given a new three-year contract at the club and Villa also signed a winger Bertrand Traore earlier this week to give a boost to their squad.
Villa bought Samatta for £8.5 million from Genk in last Winter Transfer window as a replacement of injured Wesley Moraes but he didn’t make any appearance in Villa’s two opening games this season.
He scored twice last season in 16 games he played for the club but it seems like he has failed to impress Dean Smith who will be looking to sent him out on loan this season.
